Who is responsible and how to contact us

Information we collect

We collect account information such as your email address, display name, language choice, sign-in verification state and, if you choose Google sign-in, the Google account identifier needed to sign you in. We collect prompts, generation settings, uploaded images or videos, generated outputs, library choices and the records needed to prevent abuse and process refunds.

When you buy credits or a subscription, Stripe processes payment details. Capafy AI stores transaction references, plan, payment status and credit records, but does not store full payment-card numbers. On supported iPhone and iPad browsers, Apple Pay is offered through Stripe’s payment form embedded in Capafy AI pages; Stripe may use cookies, device information and IP address to run that form and prevent fraud.

We also receive limited technical and usage information such as device/browser data, pages viewed, approximate location inferred from IP address, referral data and consent choice when you use the site.

Why we use information

We use this information to provide sign-in, credit purchases, generation, media library and support; to secure the service, apply safety checks and prevent fraud or abuse; to maintain records; and to improve the reliability of Capafy AI. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers and disclosures

We share data only as needed to run the service. This includes hosting and storage providers; Google for Google Analytics and Google sign-in; Plausible analytics served from analytics.agentx.love; Stripe for checkout and subscription administration; Resend for sign-in email; and AI, media-processing and safety providers used to process a generation you request. Providers may process data in other countries under their own applicable safeguards.

Google Analytics may receive information such as page URL, IP address and browser/cookie information when you use Capafy AI. Google describes this processing at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We do not enable advertising storage, ad-user-data or ad-personalisation through this consent choice.

Cookies, browser storage and choices

Essential cookies and browser storage keep sign-in, language and in-progress use of Capafy AI working. Google Analytics and Plausible load by default to measure aggregate website use. Browser controls can clear cookies and local storage. Clearing this storage does not stop essential service storage or payment processing required for a purchase.

Retention, security and your requests

We keep account, billing and creative records for as long as reasonably needed to operate the account, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations and protect the service. Hiding a library item removes it from your visible library; for a deletion or access request, contact support@capafyai.io from the account email. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, but no online system can promise absolute security.

Photos, minors and third-party rights

Upload only content you have the right to use. Do not upload a child’s personal data or photos for this service, and do not use Capafy AI to impersonate, deceive or harm anyone. If you believe data or content was used without permission, contact support@capafyai.io.

Changes

We may update this notice when the service or legal requirements change. The current version and its update date are published on this page.
